Alison Doody

Alison Doody, born 11 November 1966 in Ireland, is an actress and model. Alison Doody first made a film debut as the Bond girl in A View to a Kill, (1985). Then she was in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade in 1989. Doody portrayed Nazi sympathetic archaeologist Elsa Schneider. The other roles she played include Siobhan Donavan as Charlotte in A Prayer for the Dying (1987) Charlotte in Taffin (1988) as well as Rebecca Flannery in Major League II (1994). Doody was a model when she was approached. The outcome proved to be a lucrative career. Doody was adamantly against glamour and sexually explicit work. This was a policy she extended to her acting career. She accepted a small role as Jenny Flex for 1985's A View to a Kill when her name was picked by the director of casting.
