Aisha Jamila Hinds is a known American actor. She is known for the roles she played on the TV show The Shield, and True Blood. Since her introduction in 2003, she has demonstrated her range in the role of actress with amazing performances on TV shows such as 9-1-1 Detroit 1-8-7 as well as Under the Dome. Her character in Assault on Precinct 13 from 2005 was the first to catch her attention. Her appearance in the biographical movie All the Way as the Women's Right advocate Fannie Lou Hammer brought her into the limelight to the attention of the general public. Hind was also praised for her role as Harriet Tubman in WGN America's classic drama series Underground. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. 20th Century Fox Television renewed the series for a new season. Hind just finished filming the Hollywood film Godzilla: King of the Monsters. The movie is scheduled to release mid-2019.
