Gugulethu Sofia Mbatha recognized by her stage and screen names Gugu Mbatha Raw. She became popular after appearing in the BBC television series of science fiction called Doctor Who. In 1989 her diagnosis was cancer. She passed away 10 years later. Handler was born into an Reform Judaism family. Her father was Jewish. Handler was raised in a nice neighborhood, and she had a very pleasant childhood. As a teenager, Handler relocated to Los Angeles to pursue her acting profession. Handler started acting in order to make money. Handler began to do stand-up comedy full-time after she turned 21. Handler had realized that she is gifted at storytelling. Beginning Of career Handler started her professional profession as part of the Oxygen network, which was an all-female cast on a hidden camera/practical joke reality TV series Girls Behaving Poorly. The show ran from 2002 to 2005. The host then appeared on other TV shows such as Weekends at the D.L., The Bernie Mac Show, The Practice and My Wife and Kids. Handler is also an anchor for The Tonight Show. Handler's big break came in 2006, after she started hosting her own show on E! Named The Chelsea Handler show. The show ran for 2 seasons. Following the show, Handler performed on the Comedy Central's Hour Stand-Up Comedy Tour in the United States. VH1, Comedy Central Premium Blend (and HBO) have broadcast her live stand-ups. In 2010, she hosted the MTV Video Music Awards 2010 were announced. She became the second women in history, behind Roseanne Barr, to host the VMAs.
